Grounding

Grounding means constraining a model's answer to material you supply — a pasted policy, paper or document — instead of its training memory. The pattern: paste the source, answer only from it, quote the sentence behind each statement, and say “not covered” when the text doesn't cover something. It does not make answers true; it makes them checkable.
